Terms of Sale and Warranty

The online store grufftechnology.eu (hereinafter the Online Store) is owned by Gruff Technology OÜ (registry code 16620414), located at Telliskivi 60, 10412 Tallinn, Estonia.

Validity of Sales Agreement, Product and Price Information

These terms of sale apply when purchasing goods from the Online Store. Prices of products sold in the Online Store are displayed alongside each product. Product information is presented directly next to the product in the Online Store.

Placing an Order

To order goods, add the desired products to the shopping cart. To complete the order, fill in the required fields and select a suitable delivery method. The total amount will be displayed on screen and can be paid via bank link or other payment solution. All payments are processed in euros.

Payment is processed through Montonio payment solutions.

The agreement enters into force upon receipt of the payable amount in the Online Store’s bank account.

If ordered goods cannot be delivered due to stock depletion or other reasons, the buyer will be notified at the earliest opportunity and the paid amount (including delivery costs) will be refunded without delay, but no later than 14 days from the notification.

Delivery

Goods are shipped to the following countries: Estonia and Finland. Domestic shipments within Estonia typically arrive at the buyer’s designated destination within 2–3 business days from the date the sales agreement enters into force, via Omniva parcel machines. In exceptional cases, delivery may take up to 45 calendar days.

Right of Withdrawal

After receiving the order, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the agreement concluded in the Online Store within 14 days. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the buyer is a legal entity.

To exercise the 14-day return right, the ordered goods must not be used in any way other than necessary to verify the nature, properties, and functioning of the goods, in the same manner as would be permitted for testing in a physical store.

If the goods have been used for other purposes or show signs of use or wear, the Online Store has the right to reduce the refundable amount according to the decrease in the value of the goods.

To return the goods, submit a free-form withdrawal statement and send it to info@grufftechnology.eu no later than 14 days from receipt of the goods.

Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer, unless the reason for return is that the goods do not match the order (e.g., wrong or defective item).

The buyer must return the goods within 14 days of submitting the withdrawal statement or provide proof of handing the goods over to a carrier within said period.

Upon receipt of the returned goods, the Online Store will refund the buyer without delay, but no later than 14 days from receipt of the withdrawal statement. The Online Store may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned.

The Online Store has the right to withdraw from the sales transaction and reclaim the goods from the buyer if the price in the Online Store was erroneously set significantly below the market price.

Right to File a Complaint

The Online Store is responsible for non-conformity or defects of goods sold to the buyer that existed at the time of handover and become apparent within two years from delivery. During the first 12 months, it is presumed that the defect existed at the time of handover.

The buyer has the right to contact the Online Store within two months of discovering the defect by sending an email to info@grufftechnology.eu or calling +372 53493962.

The Online Store is not responsible for defects that arise after handover to the buyer. If goods have defects for which the Online Store is responsible, the Online Store will repair or replace the defective goods. If repair or replacement is not possible, the Online Store will refund all amounts paid under the sales agreement.

The Online Store will respond to consumer complaints in writing or in a reproducible format within 15 days.

Processing of Personal Data

The Online Store uses personal data entered by the buyer (including name, phone number, address, email address, bank details) solely for processing orders and delivering goods. The Online Store shares personal data with transport companies for the purpose of delivering goods.

Product Warranty and Returns

The Gruff smart socket comes with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase. In case of manufacturing defects, you may return the product to the store where it was purchased. For Online Store purchases, send the product directly to Gruff Technology OÜ at Telliskivi 60/1, Tallinn 10412, or to the nearest parcel machine. Under warranty conditions, we will replace the product or compensate the purchase and shipping price. The seller is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect use or electrical system faults and will not replace products damaged due to improper use.

Dispute Resolution

If the buyer has complaints regarding the Online Store, they should be sent to info@grufftechnology.eu or by calling +372 6099005.

If the buyer and the Online Store cannot resolve a dispute by agreement, the buyer may turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee. The Committee has the authority to resolve disputes arising from agreements between the buyer and the Online Store. Review of the buyer’s complaint is free of charge.

The buyer may also turn to the European Union Online Dispute Resolution platform.
